Hello, my name is Victor Berger, also known as Levans on various online places.

I'm a french PhD student working in Deep Learning, mostly interested about the math part (Information Theory, Statistical Manifolds, etc...) and working on generative models.

I'm also a Rust afficionado, and my main project is Smithay, a group of crates for building Wayland programs in Rust, both client and compositor side.

You'll likely mostly see me blog about these two themes, but a few other subjects might slip in depending on the random stuff I tend to try. I blog in english and in french depending on the subject. Sometime I find the motivation to provide translations in both languages.
